verizon operating system

im probably not the first who agrees that its not the most amazing OS. but i was wondering if there is anyway to install a new os on my phone?

Unfortunately nobody has been able to overhaul the complete UI, some people have managed to skin a little here and there, get their names on the front lcd or replace a few icons but nothing to the likes of a complete overhaul. The best bet is to buy a phone like most of the lg series that is coming with multiple UI's. The env, 8300, 8500, 8600 just to name a few come with at least 2 different interfaces to choose from.

You need to remember that the UI/OS is what allows your hone to communicate with the Verizon network. If you start messing around with it, or try to load another provider's OS, you will effectively lock yourself out of all the features that make Verizon's network the best and most reliable in America.
