vx8700: sending music to bluetooth earpiece?

i have the vx8700 and have loaded the mSD card up with music. Can i send the music to my bluetooth earpiece? I have bluetooth enabled and paired...works great with calls, but when i play a song, it just comes out the speaker.

what is kind of earpiece? you may need a stereo BT headset to listen to MP3 music.

It's the Plantronics Voyager 510s. I'ts a great device. It hooks up to my regular desk phone (via adapter) and gives me the ability to use the headset for both the desk phone and my cellphone AND by setting up my Tablet PC with the bluetooth headphone profile, I can listen to my PC (music, sounds, etc).

With all of that said, WTF?! This phone doesn't support the right profile? Is that what I'm hearing?

er, verizon is picky with what you can and can't do with the bluetooth. You're saying you can't get the 510 to work with the phone at all?

no he's saying he can use the bluetooth headset on his cell phone for conversations and stuff but can't listen to music through it. i think you might have to buy a more expensive "stereo" bluetooth headset to listen to music. i've been wondering about this too, and that's what most people have told me.

It seems odd that this feature (listening to music on the phone via bluetooth headset profile) has not been enabled or at least cracked by someone. i just spent a few hundred bucks on this headset system and don't intend to spend another big chunk of change on yet another headset I have to carry around. I wonder, can you add a headphone profile to the HEADSET since right now, the phone will only stream through that service apparently?
