I am currently in Israel with my LG Chocolate phone and I found out that it tells you how many voicemails you have. Furthermore if i press and hold the 1 key it allows me to access my voicemails just like at home. While the greeting is playing i pres the # key. Verizon told me that tis is not the case and that you have to dial the entire #. Also when you call overseas from the country you are in you need to dial 00+1+#. I get the 1x here in Israel and it's $1.25 a minute but it\s worth the cost for saftey.
