    No.

All the bill and website list are the number/email of the destination or source, the time, the date, and what kind of message it was (text, picture, etc).

No thumbnail of the pictures. No contents of the TXTs.

I assume from your other post about MARS you must have above average phone knowledge, so I wonder why you would post a statement as ignorant as this. Deleted messages can be retrieved, for a current story with proof of that look at the Boston Mayors office who just yesterday had hundreds of deleted messages retrieved. The Mayor himself admits they were "the definition of deleted." There are stories about deleted messages, pictures and videos that are retrieved by "forensic" computer programmers all the time.

Hi!! My dad had messages saved back for an entire year. And my little sister got his phone because hers was dead and deleted them ALL. (to make room for hers) She should have had enough sense to know if he hadnt deleted them there was a reason. She's 13. But thats beside the point. My dad and mother are going through a bitter divorce. These messages were of my mom threatning my dad and all kinds of diff stuff that would be helpful to us in court. I wondered if there was any way to recover deleted text also. We have contacted our PI. He said he would make some phone calls tomorrow. But that they could be supeaned by the court, and that they could do forensics on the phone. He said these were the only two ways he new. He also said that maybe it was still in the phones memory. i wondered if anyone had anything to add to this or maybe that can help someone. It really upsetting that the messages are gone. :-(

i thought there was a way for parents to see what their kids are texting to other people. if that is true wouldnt it make sense that they could retrieve all messages sent and received??? now if its true then you should be able to do it from your account. your best bet would be to call verizon and ask them yourself.

I'm curious about this also. I have a friend thats going through a divorce. His lawyer says they are going to get the record of his wifes text messages. I told him I didn't think it could be done. You seem pretty knoweldgable about this subject. How do you know for sure? Wouldn't it be a major legal issue for cell phone providers to keep that information in a database?

Hi all, thought I would give a definite answer to this question for all wondering..

    1. If you have no legal reason to retrieve this information, your answer ends here, No.

    2. If you do not have an attorney, with a prepared subpoena for this information, your answer ends here, No.

    3. If the messages you are seeking are older than 60 days (and that's a stretch) your answer ends here, No.

If you meet all of the criteria above, your attorney (not you), should call verizon's legal team and request the information (verizon will help your attorney with the coding)

unless you have a law degree and a fax machine you will never even speak with anyone capable of retrieving the information.
