I just deleted all my pictures by accident and I found a program called CardRecovery by WinRecovery. It scanned my phone since it can act as an external hard drive. It's an HTC Eris, so it gives me several options when I hook it up to a computer. Anyway, if your phone won't let you do this, you'll have to use a card reader for this program. You can find the program, download it, and sample it out for free. But it won't let you email yourself the pics untill you purchase it which costs $40. However, you can view all the pics it scans without purchasing it, unless the picture is too large. Give it a try. I'm glad I found it

We had a need to retrive a voice message for a court proceeding, it was important to us to get at it. I spoke with Verizon, and because it was our phone, no subpoena was required, the agent gave us a number for a company they have to do this, and it was easy, that plus 50 dollars and in a very short period?
A CD came in the mail, date and time stamped, with a bonus, the number the call came from, including the taped greeting at that number the call came from in the perps voice!
What I ahve done now is put a subpoena on him for his text's !
We shall see.

Recuva is a free program that will do the same thing, as long as you can mount the sd card or the internal phone memory.

From Tom the P.I. If you get records via subpoena you will get everything including the photos in a format that you can see. Please bear in mind in order to subpoena the records you will need a pending court action to do so. You can not just send out a subpoena. Lets say an employer was sexually harassing you and you sued them you would probably be able to then subpoena the text messages to prove your case. If you are trying to subpoena records for infidelity purposes you will not have much luck unless you live in a fault state. In non-fault states infidelity does not matter in a divorce. On the other hand if you have access to the phone I can recover deleted text messages, emails, pictures and video from 6 months to a year.
