question about canceling my contract

im currently in a 2yr contract with a family plan, and i want to remove one of the lines so that i could get a iphone for myself. however the earliest one of the lines that are on the plan ends is in december and i really do not want to wait till then to get the phone, nor do i want to pay the extra cancellation fee of $175. is there anyway of arguing or saying something to verizon that would allow me to cancel one of the lines now without paying the fee. thanks for the help in advance.

Its like 4 or 5 more months, thus $40 or $50, so if it was me I would just delete all of the extra services like text messaging. If you can afford the $500-$600 dollars for an iPhone + the $60 and up plans a month then it should be no big deal.
