Does anyone know from what time to what time we get free minutes?

I know we get free minutes on weekends and after nine, but I am unsure as to what hour the free minutes stop at.

    Thank You

    Re: Free Minutes?

Night and Weekend minutes start at 9:01pm and end at 5:59am (and of course all day Saturday and Sunday).

What do you mean, "nothing happened"? What did you expect to happen?

By the way, it is very true that Verizon's Night and Weekend minutes start at 9:00pm and end at 6:00am, and all dy Saturday and Sunday.

I am wondering if she/he has a prepaid phone and is under the impression that she/he can make calls during free periods with no minutes bought on the phone.

    Re: Free Minutes?

What's still true? The fact Verizon has their free night and weekend minutes?

Very true! They go from 9:01pm to 5:59am. Be sure you wait until 9:01...if you connect a call at 9pm...you're stuck paying for the duration of the call...until you hang up...then it becomes free to retry a call.

I've listed the free night time calling for the majority of the carriers below:

    Verizon: 9:01pm until 5:59am
    *AT&T: 9pm until 6am
    *Sprint PCS: 9pm until 6am
    T-Mobile: 9pm until 6:59am

*Sprint and AT&T both offer early night options for an additional fee. If you pay this fee, your nights will begin at 7pm and end at 6am with AT&T and 7am with Sprint.

Watch out for T-Mobile's plans! They can be very deceptive. Not all of their plans include unlimited nights and weekends. Some may include free mobile to mobile, unlimited nights OR weekends, or all or none of these.

On most Sprint plans, the nights start at 7pm. You don't have to pay extra for it. You have to pay extra ($5 for individual plans; $10 for family plans) for 6pm nights.

My bad...before Sprint stepped up to the plate they use to charge $2.50 for individual and $5 for family to get 7pm plans, but you're right...now it is just standard.

Don't blame it on yourself, blame it on Sprint. They do a poor job at advertising their strengths.
