Upgrade from e815 to... what?

My 2 year plan ends this August, and so I'm looking for a phone to replace my e815. I'm not concerned about size at all, considering I've lived with this brick for two years. What I want most are great reception and a great camera (2.0+ mp), which have to top the e815. The only thing I've really looked at was the LG VX8700, but was wondering what other options I have to consider.

I am in the same boat with a moto V710, everything I have read seems to suggest that moto and LG are tops as far as reception goes. I hear good things about the 8700 but I wish it had a better external display. I like the moto maxx but I am worried about reception issues.

I was looking at the Maxx Ve too, but the reception issues really irk me. In addition I hear the keypad is pretty flimsy.

I just upgraded from the e815 to the LG VX8300. I had the e815 for a year and a half, didn't think I'd like any other phone because I was so used to my Motorola. The LG is great! Doesn't take much to get used to it. Been using it for only 3 days and I'm very comfortable with it already. The camera is only 1.3mp, but it takes great pictures.
