Hey guys, A few weeks ago I was at cinemark and realized after I left the theatre that i had lost my phone. Now, with no insurance, I am in need of a new phone. I was looking into getting a new lg chocolate (the 2nd gen model). Is it possible that I could extend my contract for 2 more years and get the 2 year contract price? If not, do I have cheaper alternatives? Thanks you all | ||||||

First, report the phone lost/stollen. 2nd, any changes/upgrades may restart your 2 year contract. Ebay is an alternative, but very risky.

Based on the age of the phone you lost, I would say that you are not eligible for any type of early or annual upgrade discounts. However, if you follow Cam's advice and report the phone lost/stolen, you would be eligible for 25% off the full retail price of a new phone. (The New Chocolate is currently $329.99 full retail price.)
