Service Required Screen?

I bought a used phone at a garage sale, LG vx 4650. I did the programming menu thing and i think that i messed up. It has no info on it, no esn, no channle, no number, no nuthin! What do I do? please help me... the screen says service required, and i cant make any calls not even *611 or*228 or anything.

well, for the phone to work on the verizon network the ESN has to be hooked up with your account. They are usually behind the battery or in that area somewhere.

if the phone says service required on the front...there is probably a problem with the phone.
if the phone says programming required on the front, it just needs to be activated on your account with verizon, and then the *228 done.
