Pay As U Go (INpulse) info request PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello -
I was just wondering if you must buy a specific phone from Verizon in order to use Pay as You Go. I have two phones (on a family share plan) and recently, we just upgraded them both.

My son purchased a pay as you go plan (i only know this from seeing the manuals laying around) and I am wondering if he got them to activate the plan using the prior cell phone that was on the share plan.

Also, is there any type of database that anyone knows of (anyone!!!) where I could possibly find out what number this pay as you go plan uses?

You can only use designated phones with Verizon inPULSE, the more popular ones include the Samsung SCH-a870pp and Motorola RAZR V3mpp. So it would be possible for him to use an old Verizon phone if it was on their designated list, you can find more information about Verizon's inPULSE prepaid cell phone plan here.

There really isn't an easy way to do this since Verizon does not keep a public directory of phone numbers like a land line phone company. Sometimes people list their cell phone numbers in online profiles like MySpace, you could try checking there.
