Motorola Q + Verizon Question

Hi.

I'm wanting to upgrade my phone from a Samsung A930 to a Motorola Q.
I've had my current phone (A930) for a few months and I'm not satisfied with what it has to offer as far as features and what it looks like overall.

What my question is... How much would the Motorola Q be for me, if I just wanted to switch phones? Can I trade in my current one? Do I get a discount?

Also, as I said I wanted to buy a Motorola Q. But does Verizon offer it in Silver? The website only shows black.
