a week ago i switched from nextel which i had for 8yrs. They treat their customers like dirt now, so i decided to switch.
So far im very happy with my vx8350! some minor arguments but nothing really drastic worth complaining about.
My major issue is that they need to back off with trying to sell me stuff!
Not that its difficult, but they could make it easier to add files (music, ringtones, games, pics, vids) but they obviously want the primary way to be buying it from them.
The phone comes with NO games. I dont really play them often, but for sure im not gonna pay for any! So im stuck without them i guess. Going to the menu again only gives the option to go buy them from verizon.
Programs, again you have to buy it from them. I can understand this, but why not give us a demo option?
Sending files. Im sure there is a way, but why am i having difficulty sending a music file to someone? I have a song on my card and wanna send it to someone ... i go to "my music" and look for a send option, nothing. I go to memory and view the contents of the card, still no send option. Im sure ill figure it out but why should this be an issue? Anywhere i see a file i should be able to click on options, and have "send" as an option. Just my opinion.
Ringones. Why can i not set ringtones from my card? They need to be moved to the phone or something .. again, why is this complicated? Anywhere i see a music file i should have an option to set as ringtone. The only thing i can think of is that they again want me to spend money on their ringtones instead of my own.
