Prepaid to Contract???

I recently broke my phone and need to purchase a new one. The thing is I don't really want to buy one from verizon since they are pretty pricey! My question is that If I were to buy a verizon pre-paid phone from some place such as wal-mart and not activate it as a pre-paid but instead enter the ESN # and put it on my current contract would it work?

Be careful when buying off email. Always ask for the ESN Hex/Dec or MEID # and call into customer service to make sure the phone as not been reported lost/stolen, else wise you will not be able to activate it.

Absolutely! In fact, many auctions I have seen on eBay actually include the ESN for informational purposes. It is just like anything else you would buy from eBay, make sure you trust the seller.

On a daily basis there are 1000's of auctions for Verizon phones, and for the most part, the sellers are legit. However, any time you present a money making opportunity like that, someone will always stink it up.

They are correct ebayis your best bet if youdont hant have insurance.

Don't forget on EBay you also have the opportunity to email the seller and ask them questions about the item for sale.
