i've had nothing but great luck with verizon's customer service.
i recently updated my old phone to a new one, and wanted to change my current family plan, along with add a couple of features to the plan.
i called customer service approxamtly 1.8 million times in the last month (

) and was always able to get to a live person in a very reasonable time (i think the longest i had to wait was only about 2 minutes).
they were always friendly, very easy to understand, and more then willing to answer my barrage of questions for them.
compared to other customer service places i've had to call. . .verizon is by far the best i've ever dealt with (god aol is a freaking nightmare. . .lol).
