Need Help: Important Question

Hey Guys,

Okay so here's my question...

I've been wondering whether or not my mother can see the texts I send to my girlfriend (or the ones she sends to me) ? I mean on the bill itself not the phone (I erase them constantly).

I've found mixed answers on this subject and I just wanted to clear it up.
Most people say she can only see the number the texts are sent to and the times/dates they're sent and that it's a Privacy Issue to give out the texts?

Some people said that she can request the text history but others say that is false.

I'm still on a Family Plan for Verizon (that's why i'm posting here) if that makes a difference.

The only thing she can see is that you texted your girlfriend. That is logged just like your phone calls. What the text says can only be read by the person it is sent to.

So, Verizon doesnt keep a log of texts?

If so, they can't give the log out do to privacy issues right? (Kinda like they can't record your phone calls)
