Phone Coverage Question

I just recently started having a nice little "problem" with my phone. Through not fault of mine, it seems a spring has somehow broken on the inside of my "chocolate" (<-- biggest POS) phone. Also, the screen has been flickering in and out on me. This phone was a refurbished from Asurion, and according to their warranty, any mechanical failure on the phone is covered. I called them up, and according to them, the internal damage of the phone... is not covered by the warranty... because it is "physical damage"... Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but is that not "mechanical"??

I would recomend taking the phone into ur local Verizon store and asking them to look at the phone for their opinion. Make sure they know it just came in from Asurion and see what they recomend. I agree based on what u have said that this is a defect in the phone. However without knowing more about the situation such as " when did u get this replacement through asurion". Sometimes if u are getting the run around from Asurion its best to have one of the guys on ur side call in. I too have had my run arounds with asurion and they are not always the most knowledgeable.
