Charger Port Broken on VX9900 (Env)

Hello, i recently bought a Env off my friend. And i knew the charger port was broken, but i bought it from him and bought a new battery off ebay too. So currently i have a working phone, but
I cant charge it at all, and the only way ive been charging it is taking my other friends cell phone and putting my battery into there phone and charging it like that

1. Is it possible to Add insurance to a phone in the situation i am in?
2. If not, how would i get this repaired? Through a website? or through an actual store?

No, you cannot add insurance, the phone is damaged and you did not buy it from Verizon. As to getting it repaired, try asking at a store, and also look over the lg website.

Have you tried bringing it into an actual Verizon store with the repair guys in there? Maybe they could help or offer a solution?
