Stolen phone returned after insurance replaced. Is it usable?
My XV6800 along with many other valuable items were stolen from me at the end of last year. Four months later, the only item that was returned (in the same condition it was when it was stolen) that I actually had insurance on was my phone. I would like to keep it as a back up however I'm not sure what Verizon's policy is regarding this since my insurance replaced it. I'm concerned that if I take this question to Verizon that they may accuse me of some kind of fraud. Does anyone know how common my issue is or if there's some kind of program where you can return one of the phones to Verizon for credit of sorts.? I hate to think this phone is completely useless.
