Best PDA/Smartphone/Blackberry for VZW?

Hey all-

I need a PDA type phone for work (medicine). I need it for data storage, spreadsheets, email, appointments, etc.

I'm a long time Windows user, so I was drawn to the phones that use Windows OS. Seems like the Treo 700wx, i670, and the XV6800. Then there are the Blackberries, of course. And they're discontinuing the 8703, and I wish to GOD they would get the BB Curve. And the Moto Q (heard it had awful battery life?)

It'd be nice to have camera and wi-fi, which rules out all except the i670 and XV6800. Not totally essential, but it'd be nice.

Does anyone have any experience with more than one of these phones? Any recommendations? I'm tech savvy, so it doesn't have to be Windows based. I've never had a PDA type phone, so this is all new to me. Thanks in advance!

It sounds like you kind of know what you want. You're better off getting something with windows mobile 6. It's a little less buggy than 5.

I have a Moto Q, a BB Pearl and a BB 8830 WE. If you want something dependable and with great battery life, get a BB. If you want Windows, the Q is nice, but has horrible battery life--don't use push mail as that kills the battery in on time.

However, if you want a camera, that rules out the 8830. The Pearl is a great device, mainly because of its size, but does not have the full QWERTY keyboard. However, once you get used to SURE Type, you'll find it can be faster than QWERTY typing on a small device.

Just make sure you can get the applicaitons you need for a BB. WinMo will do what you want it to, just be sure to have extra chargers and batteries.
