BB Pearl forced Internet Service?

Does Verizon enforce you to pay an extra monthly fee for Online Services for BB Pearl?

Yes and yes. However, I have heard that it s RIM, the makers of blackberries, that require this. Blackberries only work over their network layer, except for voice. And why would anyone want to buy a blackberry, especially a pearl, if not for the blackberry email?

I just thought I wouldn't use it.

You can add BB data plans to your existing voice plans too. $30 for personal email and Web (BIS) and $45 for corporate PIM and Web (BES).
