Verizon Phone Recommendations?

Hi,

So my girlfriend's father is looking to get a new phone from Verizon, and I'm looking into possibilities for them. What they like would be something as follows:

- Cheap
- Good Reception
- Reliable
- Decent Quality Sound

Other features (speaker phone, camera phone, etc.) are fine, but not required. I don't even mind if it's an older phone, as long as it's known to be reliable.

Do you guys have any suggestions? I've tried wading through the mass of reviews that are out there, but it's a bit overwhelming - especially considering that most of them are mainly concerned with "special features" and whatnot. All I'm looking for is a reliable phone that's not expensive.

If he can get his hands on an LG VX-8300, that would be great for him. Verizon doesn't sell it anymore, though.

The Envy is a great phone that isnt that expensive...I also like the LG 8350...my best friend has one and im telling you that phone has great battery life, easy to call/txt on.....great sound quality....the camera/video is excellent! and finally its not expensive at all! I would recommend that phone for someone who isnt going to text that much.....Oh and its a pocket friendly phone thats perfect in your hand and in your pocket!
