I have roomates that share a cable modem connection at our apartment. Someone suggested to me to get a connect card and just run off of that. It is 2x more expensive to get a connect card and I cant justify that expence increase.
My question is this: Does any carrier you know of have a prepaid connect card? I know prepaid is not as good of a deal as a contract but it will pay off if i only use it when i need it. When i do a google search i see that other countries do this but no american carriers that i can see.
I appreciate any comments or suggestions.

You are right; there are no prepaid aircards. However, you can still do the same thing with your existing Verizon Wireless account (which I'm assuming you have since you're posting in the Verizon forum).
Just add the Broadband Access Connect feature for $59.99. If you remove the feature before midnight on the same day, you most likely won't be charged for the feature (and even if you are, you'd only be charged $2 since you only had it for one day).
