Transfering Phones... Help Pls

Hi guys, I work at a company that supplies us w/ Verizon phones w/ a voice and texting plan.

I have a regular old flip phone. I want to transfer my phone account (ph#) to a BlackBerry.

I called Verizon and they said they can do it but I need permission from the person that pays the bill... I work at a corporation and I was told that they'd not approve something like that (or there'd be too much white tape).

Is there a way for me to Transfer to a Blackberry w/o getting auth from my company?

**I just want to use a Blackberry cuz it'd make texting easier and I want the little organizer (to-do list)--and plus it loosk cooler **

Pls help if it's possible

Did you just ask me the same question at HowardForums? You can't do a phone swap without the account holder's permission (or some way to make Verizon think you have that permission).
