cant see phone on My Computer

I am trying to install the iPhone theme on my XV6800 from verizon; when I go to extract the .cab file to my phone from my PC, all I can see id the C: and D: drives...although if I right-click on the "Start" button & hit "explore" the phone shows up under my computer...any ideas?
