Time to upgrade! Looking for suggestions!

Hi, all. I'm new here.

I need to upgrade to a new phone. I have had the Motorola e815 for the past 3 years. And as great as it has been, I've had to replace it three times due to 2 software(flash) errors, and the charger port breaking. So as much as I like the phone, I don't want to have to keep going through them.

Features I am looking for are:
(at least)1.3 megapixel camera
speakerphone
text & video messaging
expandable memory(prefer microSD, but anything is okay)
good sound(jukebox or media center not necessary, but wouldn't hurt)
good video(I like watching videos when I am on line at a store)

Basic stuff. I am a media nut, so I like good sound and video.

've narrowed it down to the Nokia 6205 Dark Knight Edition(only because I am a Batman nut) and the Motorola MOTORIZR Z6tv. I don't plan on using the VCast TV service though.

I haven't used a slider phone, so I don't know if I would like them, but I am willing to give them a shot. I'm not looking to spend much either. I am getting the $50 for the upgrade from Verizon, and I'm willing to spend some on top of that, but not much.

So I am looking for opinions on either one of these, or maybe some other option I haven't considered. Thanks for any help.

I am going to suggest what I use the LG 8350 and then there is the Moto W755. I think that if you like the batman phone then go get it. Word is Nokia is the actual maker of this phone not another maker with nokia branding. In the long run get the 2 you like. Try one and if you dont like it exchange it for the other one within the 30 day trial.

I agree in regards to the Nokia phone. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

The Motorola W755 will also be a good alternative for you seeing as to what your needs are.

I think both phones will be your great "basic" phone and work very well on the Verizon network.

Just to get this out there: Has anyone noticed with the W755 there being any lag of any kind?

Re: Time to upgrade! Looking for suggestions!

I have the w755 and have quite a few files on it and have noticed very little lag on it.. I was a previous e815 user while I do miss the bigger screen size I love the small form factor of this phone. My one complaint is the battery life seems subpar as compared to my e815
