Are these true? How much of it is truth?
Happen to have any information of if it includes picture messaging or not?
Secondly, is that legal? |
The above listings might fall under the chaperone feature if its true about theie release. Being able to set the number of text messages received and sent makes a good marketing selling point. A parent's dream come true.

A parent's dream come true. | That would be a good point, and I did call up verizon and ask about it and they said it's false, for a first reason of not being able to keep record of that many text messages. However, chaperon would make sense.

#8 | | Newbie | To see who text messages are being to sent to and received by, go to your Verizon account online. You can see the date time and the telephone number. You can even block numbers from your account online. This is applicable only for personal accounts. If your mobile number is billed under a business account you will not have access to the same information.

the first two are possible.. it's standard... do you not use texting?
and the third one would be a nice feature.. i agree that it'd be a good selling point.

#12 | | Phone Addict | This was sent to me by a friend, √erizon updates;
Today Verizon announced an update to its Chaperone parental tools. The service allows parents to track the whereabouts of their children with Verizon's phones. It can now provide turn-by-turn directions in VZ Navigator to the child's location. Parents can also get the location of multiple childrens' phones at the same time. It also allows parents to set up SMS alerts and other notifications when their children leave predetermined zones where they are allowed to be. Verizon also added usage controls, so parents can set limits for voice minutes used per month, test messages sent/received per month, and how much can be spent on games, ringtones or other content. Chaperone 2.0 costs $10 per line and the usage controls cost $5 per month.
