i didn't realize verizon had a customer service department. at least that is the way that it feels whenever i get in contact with them. i've never had anything helpful in that regard what so ever.
as for reception etc... its been good for me, except when i go to the mountains i have to set it to
EVDO network rather than
cdma (1x). I can't say as I've had too many dropped calls with them either. I can only recall one dropped call and I can't honestly say as if it was Verizon that dropped the call, or Cingular (since I was talking to my Mother who happens to be with them).
