New phone run MS word, PDF

I am looking to get a new phone and need it to be able to run Microsoft word and support PDF files. I do not need a data plan though. Is there anything that verizon offers that is close to what I am looking for. I believe the blackberry's do these things but you have to sign up for the email or data plan and I do not need them. Any help is appreciated.

If you get a blackberry or a treo you don't have to have a 'data' plan but you do have to have the plan specific to pda's in case you want to browse internet and such.

Quick correction. Blackberry's REQUIRE a data plan. (24.99/29.99/44.99).

Treo's and other smart phones do not require a data plan. You can place a block or have a pay as you go rate, or a data plan.

Blackberry again, requires a data plan.
