Verizon Class Action settlement

Anybody out there receive a postcard about a class action settlement? They are saying that the ETF (early termination fee) is illegal. What do you think about it?

Is there any way you could add more info. What other information is on the postcard? Where are you located? etc.

The lawsuit claims that Verizon Wireless violated California's consumer protection laws by imposing the ETF. Four people in California are suing Verizon on behalf of other class members (which includes anyone who had a personal wireless service from July 23,1999 to AUgust 10 2008 and paid an ETF fee). If they win then Verizon will pay $21million into a fund which will reimburse those who have paid this fee, etc...
As much as I hated paying the ETF, I don't know if I can morally make a claim since I knew what I was signing. The deadline to make a claim was today.

I agree I signed up for something and was fully made aware of the ETF. At that point I agreed and signed the contract. Now if the service is not working or there is no coverage that is another argument.
