HELP!! Locked phone!

Hi, I bought an envy from a garage sale and when I took it home to turn it on, it was locked and needed a lock code. It won't let me go into it at all without the lock code. I've gone back to the neighborhood with the garage sale but can't seem to remember what house I bought it from. Can I unlock it somehow? Or is the phone now useless?? =(

try 0000 ? It's probably the last 4 numbers of the phone line it was last on, but there's no easy way to tell as someone could've changed it. If that fails bring it to verizon. Hopefully it's not stolen.

Hopefully nott.. maybe thats why it was being sold at the sale. lol.. i've tried 0000, 1111, 2222, 1234, all those combinations. I know it could be the last 4 numbers of the last phone number but I have no idea what the last persons phone number was?! =(
