V CAST Music vs. Didiom

Hi -- just wondering which service is better/cheaper for streaming music from my PC to my phone and downloading new music – v cast music or Didiom? Is it possible to sign up for both? Thx.

Re: V CAST Music vs. Didiom

If you have Verizon Wireless, definitely use V CAST Music, especially since it is new with Rhapsody. Verizon Wireless charges $0.99 per song downloaded from them. You can also add a $14.99 package which will allow you to download music for free and transfer it onto 3 different devices. It will not allow you to burn music you do not pay $0.99 for.

Also, all Verizon Wireless users who open up V CAST Music with Rhapsody and login free (no purchase necessary, no package necessary) will be allowed to listen to 25 free songs (any songs in the large library of over 5 million songs). It is the full song.

V CAST Music with Rhapsody is the largest music store on the internet at this time.

I am not sure exactly how didiom works...sorry...but I did look it up and by the looks of it, V CAST Music | Rhapsody is better.

Re: V CAST Music vs. Didiom

Thanks! Is V CAST Music with Rhapsody larger than AT&T’s Napster Mobile?

From a functional perspective, it seems that Didiom goes way beyond V CAST Music. I tried both services. Can you access your iTunes library from your phone with V CAST Music? That’s one of the free services Didiom offers. Also, can you name your price for songs and albums on V CAST Music? I think you can only do it with Didiom.

Tim Green, the executive editor of Mobile Entertainment magazine, wrote an article about V CAST Music saying that the phone copy V CAST Music sells is DRM-protected. Didiom is 100% DRM-free/MP3. I downloaded a bunch of MP3s from them and, after bidding, paid around $0.78 per song.

Re: V CAST Music vs. Didiom

V CAST Music with Rhapsody has the largest music store available on the internet. They carry of 7 million or more songs. This would be 3 times the size of AT&T's Napster Mobile.

Generally, people who access songs using V CAST Music with Rhapsody would leave the iTunes service behind, since they don't need it. V CAST Music does everything you could dream for.

Yes, it is true that when you purchase the song at $0.99 from your computer, it is DRM protected. If you are a huge music fanatic, then it would be of benefit to you to go with the V CAST Music with Rhapsody music package for $14.99. Unlimited downloads. Also, the downloads are NOT DRM protected. But here's the issue. With the $14.99 per month downloads, you cannot burn them. It would force you to pay the $0.99 to be able to burn them to a disk.

V CAST Music with Rhapsody has been rated superior to all of the largest competitors. Verizon Wireless itself has been rated superior to all of its competitors...no matter what features you use! Check virtually any rating system, Verizon has everyone beat.

Also, Didiom is not guranteed (or will not) work on a Verizon Wireless device.
