Verizon Data Plan question

I am thinking about getting a smartphone for my next upgrade with verizon, but if you get a data plan, does the plan go on every line, or just your own? There are 3 other phones on the plan I am on, and I would be the only one with a smartphone and I just can't seem to find if the plan can be added to just one line, or if it has to be added to all the lines.

It's per line, so you should be set

All of Verizon's services go per line EXCEPT the Unlimited Text Messaging plans because they require a completely different price plan, the select plan.

You will be able to add it just to your line.
