better signal with newer phone?

Hi... Have been using Verizon LG phone since 2004. Very bad service in house, must go stand under the power line across street to use phone. Phone now often scrambles the display, have to perform restart. Time to get new phone. Want a pda smartphone but will only get one if I get better signal in house.

Do the most recent phones give better reception than my old clunker?

Many thanks for your opinions.

J Roberts

Re: better signal with newer phone?

What is the old phone that you have?

More than likely you will get better reception on a newer phone, but there are several factors that go into making a phone's reception 'better'. Luckily Verizon will allow you to return a phone within 30 days if you do not like it.
