Need a Phone to Sync with Outlook Calendar

I’m currently carrying a cell phone for calls, and a Palm to track my appointments on Outlook Calendar. I’d like to replace both of those with one unit (phone or PDA). Here are my needs:

1. Phone calls and Syncing Calendar to PC, preferably using Bluetooth or wifi (I’m on a Dell PC running Windows XP). That’s it. Don’t care about texting, web access, email, GPS, or anything else.
2. Don’t want to pay any additional monthly service or subscription charge above my current plan.
3. Must be on Verizon network.

Your options are BlackBerry or Windows Mobile. It sounds like you'd be more comfortable with BlackBerry though. Check out the BlackBerry Storm 2, the BlackBerry Tour, or the HTC Touch Pro2.

Don't Blackberry's make you sign up for an additional monthly plan? Or can I just get a Blackberry and use the Calendar Sync and not sign up for anything else? I was looking at one HTC option, the HTC Ozone. Would that suit my needs? Thanks

Personally, I don't use a BlackBerry or any other Smartphone device, but from all of the posts I have seen in this forum, if you get one of those devices thru Verizon, they will require you to sign up for an account with a data plan.
