I am a Verizon wireless user. A few days ago, my text messages started showing up as emails from my phone number, plus "vtext.com"

In other words, the people I'm sending text messages to are getting emails instead, and they show up as "1234567899@vtext.com."

I have no clue how or why this is happening but I don't like it.

    How can I stop this?

What phone do you have? I suspect something was set incorrectly.

Have you changed any settings on your phone? I used to use VText all the time to send text messages from the Web, but your messages shouldn't be coming from there unless you have explicitly changed some setting.
