LG Verizon phones and ringtones

Does anyone know if we can download ringtones for verizone LG phones and if so, where to get them?

You can d/l ringers to the lg4400 and lg6000. You need to find a program called bitpim. Then you just need to find the data cables. Any midi file will work with the phones.

Go to "howardforums.com" and do a search for any cell needs. It's all there. Also go to yahoo groups and search for groups about LG phones, plenty there also.

Hmmm... the LG 5300 which is available in australia comes with all the data cables and software for transferring ringtones to the phone.

the new LG6000 (camera phone) doesnt require a cable to get wallpapers and ring tones on it. you can actually email the files from your computer to the phone and save them on the phone

Only the VX-10's and upper models can receive ringtones, vx4400, and 6000 can receive images.

u need .mmf format ringtonez for lg phones , go 4 it

some midis r really quiet so get this prog called midifixer, really good for increasing vol. on midis

www.howardforums.com is great, but if you don't like the way the song sounds look around for another copy cause I have some songs that one version sucks and the other one souds great. I gues you have to know what you are doing when you convert them.

If you have the new LG6000, you can most certainly download ringtones through picture messaging. Just email a picture message to your phone with a midi file attached of the ring tone you want! For the other LG models, I'm not sure.

I think the only ones so far from LG (in the states) are the VX4400 and VX6000 that you can send them through pix messaging.
