    virgin mobile service

As far as i know, there is no way to get aim, yahoo, or microsoft messenger on a virgin phone--i work at the ict call center in colorado springs. they provide customer service/activations/troubleshooting for virgin mobile. I get at least 3 calls a day asking if a person can surf the web or instant message or send a text to a phone outside of the usa--the only thing it lets you do is send/recieve a text message as if it were email. instead of text to a ten digit nuber type in a email address--it'll most likely arrive. and to recieve, [email protected] should arrive (as long as the subject line plus message is less than about 125 chars

you should just stick with txt messaging, most companies charge the same amount for both, but you message more with aim lol.

You cannot send IMs w/ Virgin Mobile. Only Text messaging. Only w/ Boost is when u can IM due to their web browser.

Yup, Virgin have deliberately crippled their phones in the US.

Shame of it is that overseas they get wireless internet, bluetooth, etc. on VM phones.
