if I were to sign up with Virgin Mobile what would be best for a person like me that only uses about 150 mins. a month. So which would be better Minute2Minute or Day2Day ??

If you use about 150 min. a month, I would go with the Day2Day. It is $.35 a day and only $.10/min. The Minute2Minute is $.25/min. for the 1st 10 minutes each day, which can get really pricey.

* there is a little savings if you talk for 11 or more minutes per day, as you hit $.10/min, but figure you won't if you only use 150 minutes.
Day2Day : $.35/day x 30 days = $10.50
$.10/min x 150 min = $15.00
Total = $25.50
It's a nice savings, but for reference, if you for some reason use 300 minutes, Minute2Minute would then be $75, where as Day2Day would be $41.50 (with the same circumstances as above).
I had Virgin, and it worked well for our purposes, but if you think you might go over the 150 mark, I'd shop around for a plan. Plus with Virgin, if you go out of the Sprint coverage area, your phone is worthless. Virgin is linked to Sprint, and does not roam. For example, our old coverage in Wisconsin was limited to the interstates. Stray from there and you get zero coverage.
Hopefully this helped you out. And I recommend you research the Virgin phone you buy. At the time, I bought the 'high-end' Virgin phone, only to find that the reception on it was literally 1/3 of the 'low-end' models.
Good Luck.
Nic

Virgin Mobile is the only cell phone provider for the Kyocera Slider Sonic.

The only thing is that you might be covered but will you have reception/signal. I'm not saying don't get it, but you don't want to purchase a nice phone that you can't really use. If you don't have any reception, then the phone is really useless, because you can't reactivate it on another service. Try to find out if anyone you know has Virgin Mobile in your area and ask what kind of reception they have.
