Virgin mobile use/roam on Verizon?

I ditching my contract with AT&T in January when it's up. coat to much well over $200 for 3 phones.

after researching many prepaid carriers and options.
with Verizon being the largest CDMA network in the US.
I would like to go with that network service.

Yes Straight Talk rides on Verizon, but their Phones appear to be really cheesy, I'm looking for smart phones.

So here are my questions.

1. will Virgin mobile use/roam on Verizon?
or is it looked down to just sprint, and when their is no sprint towers your just SOL.
