Which phone do you guys recomend?
I was originally going to get the Samsung Intercept, but after reading the reviews, the phone seems to lock up/freeze constantly after two months of use, even with the 2.2 update. Can anyone honestly say that they've been using their Samsung Intercept for four+ months and say it's fine? Should I go to the Optimus V? Or maybe even back to the Rumor 2. Help me, please! Which phone do you think is the best, if you use Virgin Mobile. Thanks in advance!
I really do want the Samsung Intercept, but not if it's going to be annoying to use after two months of using it. Most of the reveiews that I've read say the Optimus V is the better way to go.
Say I didn't download too many apps, and just used the Intercept for mainly texting and web surfing, do you think I would experience the freezing and app force closing?
Oh, and what of this Froyo 2.2 update? Will it make the Intercept run smoother? And how do I go about getting it if I do buy the Intercept?

Optimus V seems to be the popular choice based on the larger screen and It's less buggy.

Re: I need help choosing a Virign Mobile phone.
I have purchased all the Androids that Virgin Mobile has sold to date.
1. Samsung Intercept is a bad phone, in every way. rated between 1 and 10 gets a 1.5 or 2. 2 would be on a good day.
2. Motorola Triumph just released EXCLUSIVLY on Virgin Mobile is less than stellar in stability and performance, Currently I have the Triumph and am stuck using it until I get my moneys worth out of it. Its hardware list is impressive but its performance is not.
3. LG Optimus V is by far the best phone they have. I has two processors that are set to share the load in running the phone, While it is not technically a dual processor phone LG set this phone up to work like one. They really put their thinking caps on for this phone.
Of all the phones I have used from them (Virgin Mobile) I was most happy with the Optimus V and would have never sold it if it had a slightly larger screen.
3.2 is border line to small for me and after having the Triumph, a 4 inch screen is just a pinch to big. 3.6 or 3.7 would probably be just about perfect.
Get it. The OptimusV.Last edited by Androidfonefan; 09-14-2011 at 12:24 PM.
