VM's Beyond talk progam says no roaming charges. It also says no service beyond coverage area. If I sign up using an east coast ZIP code and travel to Californig does that mean I will get no service because I'm out of my coverage area? Explain please.
Thanks. ngblg2

Re: Definition of VM no roaming Charge.
I know this thread is old, but I wanted to answer the question so that others can find the information when searching.
Virgin Mobile does not roam on other networks, but you can "roam", as in move around, as long as you're in Virgin Mobile's coverage area. Virgin Mobile uses Sprint's native network, which means your Virgin Mobile phone will use Sprint's towers, but will not use another carrier's tower. So, you should be able to travel and use Virgin Mobile without a problem as long as there are Sprint towers there. You can check Virgin Mobile's coverage map to see where they provide service.
