Odd happenings with XV6800 (verizon)

I tried to use my camera on my phone. It has a specific button, as does voice dial (or whatever you call it). All my other buttons seem to work, except these. I checked the buttons section of the settings, and neither camera nor voice dial whatever are options to set. I can access my camera via pictures and videos, but I miss my "easy button". Any suggestions? I've checked online with verizon, microsoft, and htc, along with many other boards of similar content. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

So I've got an Omnia now, but I did sorta fix this problem with my 6800...
I found the icon link in the windows folder and moved it so I could get to it. I've been using Spb Mobile Shelll 3.0, and it has an option for a camera button, so I've been using that instead of the side button. I think my registry might have gotten messed up somehow.
