blackjack questions

Bare with me for awhile because i have quite a few questions...

First off i have a BlackJack SGH-i607. i updated it to windows mobile 6 along time ago and i need to know can i upgrade it to a higher version?

Second, i was on another site looking for a way to alpha dial on my phone and saw a cheat sheet, where you can change the picture on the dialing screen that shows the numbers with the letters (1-abc 2-def 3-ghi etc). is there any way to do this for the BlackJack SGH-i607?

The BJ 1 does support WM6.1. I run it on my phone, and to make it work right, you need to overlock the processor with OMAPClock (usually built into the Firmware)
There isn't an exact official upgrade for the BJ1 and WM6.1, but there are a few mods out there.

I use BJC ROM 4.3mr1 , and it works pretty good.
Every ROM file comes with the flasher software and instructions.
If you do upgrade, keep in mind that you need to backup anything off of your phone, because it will loose everything once you flash it.
