    but that's the FULL retail price, not the "google shopping" price.

    i've used mobileme for many years and never paid more than $78, when the
    full "list price" was always $99.

    larry, you might want to stop posting for awhile, you simply don't know
    anything about what you speak...

    That's not OS X, but the open source components used in it. Saying the Mac
    is "open source" because bits of open source code is in it's OS is like
    saying engine coolant is a healthy thirst-quenching drink because it's 50%
    water...

    that's 95% of osx, if you want to program the rest you are FREE to do so.

    apple is a strong open source proponent, so nothing is stopping you.
