    Just tried it. Seems to work fine. My Location in Google Maps even
    works. Mail works, iPod works, iTunes works, Safari works, Contacts in
    Phone work, but if you try to dial a number you get a pop-up that says
    "No SIM installed". There's a little No SIM messsage in the upper left
    corner where the AT&T logo usually is. Took a bit more than 10
    seconds... took longer than that to find a paper clip! ;->

    Popped the SIM right back in and back to normal.

    One of the kids managed to lose her KRZR, so we're gonna see about
    getting her an iPhone. Due to a quirk in my contract (Not in the US, so
    not on AT&T) my contract gets renewed too whether I want it or not.

    I figure I can replace my 8GB iPod Touch with a 16GB iPhone 3G and go
    from there even if I don't use it as a phone full time.
