Has anyone (other than the reviewers) purchased the US version of this phone
    and used on ATTWS?

If so, what do you like/not like about it?

It sounds like a great phone and I'm a little surprised it hasn't been
mentioned on this newsgroup so far.

    Bob,

You're best off visiting the xda-developers forum
(http://forum.xda-developers.com/index.php). This is THE BEST source for any
and all HTC devices--HTC Diamond certainly included
    (http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=429)...

    Re: HTC Touch Diamond

I just returned the Touch Diamond using Sprint, and switched to AT&T to get
the IPhone. I loved the screen on the Touch Diamond. It is clearer and
sharper than the IPhone, but the difference is not really noticeable. The
Touch Diamond is very small, but offered the same screen size as my Mogul.
What was a deal killer for me was the memory issue. I install a lot of
programs I have used for years using Windows Mobile. Even when I tried to
install exclusively to the internal storage, I eventually ran out of that
portion of the memory that is dedicated to operating the system of the
device. I still has plenty of "internal storage" memory left, but the device
would lock up. I worked on this for a month, and finally, and very
    reluctantly, gave up.

I let a friend talk me into the IPhone. I am loving the flexibility of the
IPhone, the stability of being able to sync between two computers, and the
ease with which I can get some things, like GPS, or the internet, to be
accessed by me. My wife just picked up the Blackberry Storm. The IPhone is,
in my opinion, worth all the hype that it has been given.

Thanks for the response. If you were switching to AT&T it seems like the
HTC Fuze would be a good replacement for the Diamond. It accepts Micro SD
cards up to 32GB and is the same size as the Diamond with the exception of
the additional thickness of the keyboard, which I personally like.

I bought the Fuze as soon as it was released last month and have been very
happy with it. My only complaint is the lack of Tab and Ctrl keys when I'm
using Excel. Otherwise it exceeds all my expectations.

    Re: HTC Touch Diamon

Here is a list of programs that I would typically put on a PPC. I am getting
into the flexability and the human factors engineering present with the
    IPhone.

    Calligrapher

    Contact Breeze

    Googhelper

    Google Maps

    Handmard Handbase

    Memmaid

    Phatnotes

    Phatpad

    PhoneWeaver

    PocketPlus

    Pocketweather

    Repligo

    Resco Brain Gain

    Resco File Explorer

    Resco Keyboard

    Resco Photoviewer

    Resco Registry

    Ringo

    SPB Backup

    SPB Brain Evolution

    Spb Diary

    SPB Time

    Splash ID
