The lawyers run the government -- there are very few bankers involved.

Sure -- or they'd quit, leaving us in a real pickle.

The Fed hasn't "handed out" anywhere near that much.

"Banks promise they won't use bailout money for pay"
<http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/n/a/2008/11/13/national/w073154S76.DTL&feed=rss.news>
Executives from four financial institutions that have received a
total of $75 billion in federal bailout funds promised at the hearing
that none of the aid would be used for paying executives and
employees.
"The committee has asked whether (bailout) funds would be spent on
executive compensation," said Jon Campbell, regional banking
president for Wells Fargo & Co. in his testimony. "The answer is no.
Wells Fargo doesn't need the government investment to pay for bonuses
or compensation."
Executives from Goldman Sachs Inc., Bank of America and JP Morgan
Chase & Co. made similar pledges.

Does the word FUNGIBLE mean anything to you ?
Banks take Federal Money to pay for Computer Hardware, then take money
that was to be used for computer hardware and pay bonuses.

Our problem, gentlemen, is MONEY CHANGERS. The money changers have been
the problem for thousands of years, quietly skimming the fruits of the
labors of any group of people away for their own enjoyment and edification.
It was true 3000 years ago....It was true in 1930....It's still true,
today.
Until we setup gallows and start hanging the MONEY CHANGERS, nothing will
vary our decent back into serfdom. No amount of printing fake faux money
will make any difference.......until the hangings commence in earnest.
If you look back over the last thousand years of history, you'll see that
the MONEY CHANGERS drive every society into poverty, resulting in an
overthrow of government, followed by the militant classes taking power,
just like the fascists did in 1930's Germany.....when the Money Changers
had it all for themselves, starving the German people in the process.
We are always doomed to repeat the process as long as the MONEY CHANGERS
continue to control major governments and have PRIVATE CENTRAL BANKS to
maintain that control......The Federal Reserve, The Bank of England....and
on and on.....
Few Americans even realize that the MONEY CHANGERS have their own country
inside England. It's called the City Of London Corporation. Google it and
see for yourself! It's where the Money Changers call home.
