My Bahraini buddy, Mahmood, claims he only gets about 5Mbps when driving
around Manama in his car, but it goes up to the 8Mbps cap he bought
every time you stop....which makes sense with all that interference and
multipath. I've talked to him Skype-to-Skype on it and Skype doesn't
even notice when it switches wimax cells.
Simply amazing. Sellphones in Bahrain are old technology, now. So
isn't cable TV's internet delivery.
