Note that I put "4G" in quotes. Point is: The Victor Valley has a population of around 300,000. Youngstown is... hold on, checking Wikipedia... about 80,000. We should have gotten the upgrade first. IMHO of course.

Verizon's early LTE network, and Sprint's current Wimax network are
technically not 4G either.

Why are you arguing a point that wasn't even relevant to my original post?
OK. I know it's not REAL 4G. THAT IS WHY I PUT "4G" IN QUOTES.
Point is, it's faster than their original 3G, it's a network upgrade, and Youngstown got it before we did here.
Can you please stop arguing that it's not real 4G? Thing is, I am NOT disagreeing with you on that point.

My other favorite charger is Macally CARUSB10 Dual Port USB Car Charger
<http://www.macally.com/en/product/ArticleShow.asp?ArticleID=332>
Truly fast (2.1A) charger, likewise no audio noise.
Caveat: I use high-grade cables for both charging and audio --
cheap cables can result in noise regardless of charger and handset.

It's as much "4G" as anything else currently being deployed.

Steven is just trying to be pissy about T-Mobile, even though he had to
admit it's no worse than his favorite carrier.

NEWS: Android Gains on IPhone, BlackBerry Falls Further
Google's Android platform is gaining fast on market leader Apple and its
iPhone, according to a recent survey by research firm Nielsen.
The report stated that Android has 25.8 percent of the U.S. smartphone
market, compared to the iPhone 28.6 percent share. Meanwhile, Research
in Motion's BlackBerry devices, once the leader in the smartphone
market, continues to decline with a 26.1 percent of the market. RIM had
been ahead of Apple and Google with a 33 percent share as recent as June
2010.
While Nielsen noted that 87 percent of the smartphone market is
controlled fairly evenly by Apple, Google and RIM, devices running on
Google's Android platform are now the clear favorite among new handset
buyers, with over 40 percent of devices being Android -- beating out the
iPhone and BlackBerry at 27 and 19 percent, respectively.
Demand for Internet-enabled phones continues to be strong, with fully 45
percent of November buyers choosing a smartphone over a feature
handsets.

NEWS: Android tops global smartphone ranks
Android has now surged past Symbian to become the world's top smartphone
platform, says a report out today from research firm Canalys.
Global shipments of Android-based phones hit 32.9 million in the final
quarter of 2010, pushing Nokia's Symbian down to second place with 31
million smartphones shipped.

yep, and verizon claims android sales have stagnated.
it also looks like 'shipments' are from manufacturer to retailer, not
to end user, according to other reports.
apple is activating 366k ios devices a day (as of a couple of weeks
ago) while google claims 300k android activations per day, from about a
month ago.

Screw "shipments". What about activations? Head to head at the AT&T store,
who sells both, iPhone outsells android threefold plus.

complete nonsense. it's still 4th at best in marketshare, and while
there may have been a short blip in sales, the Android will completely
disappear on Feb 10th when the iPhone 4 is available on Verizon.
